The old Fajen Aristocrat still looks nice.....I didn't know anyone was making it anymore.

Let us know how light it is?.....Pecan is not a wood I've had any experience with.

I prefer the bottom stock very much more than the top.

Then again, I prefer my pecans in a pie! thumb

If you're planning on using a scope with that stock the top picture will be much more suited. The drop at the heel on that stock is so much that without the roll-over cheekpiece you're unlikely to be able to see through a scope if your cheek is against the stock.

maybe he has a big head- mine's the size of a watermelon...

seriously- the top comb woulld have me looking over the elevation turret; I'd have to scrunch to get on the eyepiece.
