Anybody have one of these? From what I can see in the pictures, it looks like ther is another mechanical "disconnector" if you will, that is required to be depressed before the rifle can bew fired.
Having been introduced into the shooting sports 35 years ago by a Benchrester, I don't think I like this idea.

Experiences? Opinions? And, Is there anyone making an aftermarket replacement?

Thanks

Based on my experience, the Accu-trigger is the best thing to come along since sliced bread. Mine is set at its lowest setting, and my trigger scale reads 1 lb., 7 1/4 oz. No creep, no back lash. What more could you possibly want? After about 10 rounds, I found that I could use the trigger safety as if it was the first stage of a two stage pull. Then, line it up, and let it go. In .223, my LARGEST group with any ammo was just a hair over 3/8". 3 shots @ 100 yards. I think the trigger plays a major role in accuracy, and this one is great.
Hope this helps.

I had one for about a month on a Savage 12fvss and the trigger worked fine. It came with a 2 pound pull out of the box.

A negative situation would be for a cold weather hunting rifle if one had gloves on as it reduces the finger room in the guard.

Overall I would much rather have a M 70 trigger however Savage has a good idea considering their price range. I sold the rifle as it had many problems but the trigger was not one of them.
