ADL Mag. Box & Follower for BDL?

I will be converting a Rem. 700 ADL to a BDL. Will the ADL mag box, follower, and spring work with the new bottom metal? Thanks.

The follower and spring will work just fine, but the mag box will need to have couple of millimeters removed from it.

Correct! (Only in the States we remove fractions of an inch)

I would recommend replacing the mag box. If you insist on trimming the ADL box to fit, make a mark .275 up from the bottom of the box at the rear, and a mark .100 at the front. Draw a straight line between these two marks and remove everything below the line. Or, for those who wish to get technical, remove everything that doesn't look like a BDL box.
