The previously mentioned .458 is my first custom rifle, and it's hard not to want to have too much "customer participation" (like ordering the parts so you can fondle them, and then have to return them because you bought the wrong stuff).

I'm learning. BUT the bug has gotten me. I'm already thinking about project number 2.

Go ahead and make fun of me, but I have always thought those "Extreme Jungle Carbines" from Gibbs looked really neat.

I was wondering if anybody had built one? I hear the are rechambering them in .45-70. That would be kind of neat. A guy could have a lot of fun with one in 7.62x39 too I'll bet.

What do you think?

I was thinking about getting one in .308.

I have always that a SMLE in 405 Win would be real cool. I might even do one someday.
