Ed Shilen has left the range
Mikel Shilen called me a short time ago to let know that Ed passed away. Ed was a true friend and an Icon in the shooting World. Keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
There will be no services.

I have several of his barrels on my guns, fantastic barrels by the way. The gun industry has been dealt a hard blow as Jim Clarke Jr. left the range also. My prayers are with both Families now.

Ramrod, I have heard the saying the death comes in 3's. Hopefully, we have a lull.

Sad news for sure and best wishes to the family.

Ed Shilen knew an awful lot about accuracy shooting, and was not afraid to share it with the rest of us. I learned a lot from him.

We are diminished...

My condolences to the Shilen family and his friends in Ennis, the firearms community lost an innovative pioneer.

I have many of his barrels. They are excellent shooters.
