I was thinking about lightening the trigger pull on my S&W .500 and Desert Eagle .50AE to about two pounds. Is this two light? And can your average gunsmith do this?

Too light on the semi auto for sure.

A two lb single action pull o the 500 don't know I personally would want it a bit heavier.

what p dog said to light a trigger on a heavy recoiling pistol can cause repeat firings. i.e. the recoil will jar your finger on the trigger enuf to fire again

Don't know about the desert eagle, but can easily be done on the smith and Wesson.
