Does Ruger make extension rings ? If so, has anyone ever used them on a #1 rifle ? I have a nice Leupold 2-7x I'd like to use on a 6mm #1, but not enough eye relief.

I've been looking into this same thing. Leupold has offset rings in both 1" and 30mm.

The problem I have is that I need to move the scope back, but to do that will put the bell into the quarter rib, unless I use high mounts, which I don't like. I'm still thinking about the best method of sights on the #1. I think that is the weakest point of the rifle.

Ruger makes extension rings, but only in low and medium height. (As of a few years ago)
