My first "custom" (or semi-custom) rifle, that is. A Montana Rifleman SS 1999 action in .358 Win with one of their barrels at 21-inches long. Serengeti Rifles did the stock - one of their laminates, oil finish, checkering and glass bedding. They will ship it out on Tuesday, so I hope to have it very soon. I cannot wait to get my hands on it, mount the scope and get her to the range!

California-

That is a fine looking rifle, congratulations!

I hope she shoots as good as she looks.

Is that fore-end cap ebony or rosewood?

Lucky buggar! I'm still waiting on my SS LH long magnum action to clear the launch tower. That's a fantastic-looking stock for a laminate; very appealing. What was your opinion of the fit/finish of the action when you first received it, prior it going to the 'smithy? How long did you wait to get the action from ordering it?
