Fixing loose claw mount

I have a Mannlicher-Schoenauer Model 1950 with claw mounts, double slot up front with base dovetailed into a boss over rifle chamber and single slot rear screwed to reciever just above the bolt release. Problem is the mount is not tight when latched with some movement up-down and slight movement fore-aft and left-right at the rear. Front fit is good with only slight fore-aft movement. I feel that all movement could be eliminted by adding metal to the rear claw and/or slot and refitting, but I am no expert on claw mounts and wonder if there is someone out there who could do this repair? Any help would be appreciated.
