Starting on restoring one of these and I'm in need of a replacement stock and a barrel for the M1941 Johnson Rifle. The barrel I can fabricate from a blank if I have to, but anyone know where I can get the two-pieces stock? Doesn't have to be original WWII but I do want the original shape, not a "sporter" stock. I may be totally off on this one, but I think that Boyds used to have a pattern for one. Again, might be remembering wrong, but it is worth a try.

John, the CMP forum is a good resource. also try http://johnsonautomatics.com/messageboard/index.php?& and http://www.johnsonautomatics.com/Links.htm jmscottparts@NOSPAMgmail.com is supposed to make aftermarket stocks you can go to jouster.com looking for info on the 1941, I am not a fan of the site, but there is some good info there.
