Could anyone advise on a place to purchase a bottom metal for a mauser 98 - 30.06?

I am looking for someone who will be able to export to South Africa.

It's an easy operation to modify an original Mauser box to 30-06 length, one of those same gunsmiths should be able to do it for a fraction of the cost of one of those customs.

Export licenses are very costly here in the States and not many people have them. Try Griffin and Howe.
