By flattening the base and adding a base that will fit the reciever, or just by flattening and tapping the BRNO reciever?

Sure you could. I think the question might be more of "Do you really want to?" I guess I would have to ask, are you talking about a military Brno, or a nice Brno commercial sporter? If it was the latter, I would think long and hard about it before doing so in any way which involved modifiying either receiver ring. If it was a military action, I'd probably say "Sure, The best and easiest way is to use something that already will fit the rear receiver ring properly, and use that to make a base for the sight you showed the picture of....and if you have to make a little modification of the receiver ring as part of the job, don't worry too much about it." I'd think, for myself, I'd look around and find an older Lyman or Redfield receiver sight made for the model of Mauser you have. Would probably look better, definitely would give you much better (click) adjustments, and would likely add to, rather than potentially diminish, the value of your rifle. Best wishes, AC

I have one just like it on a Thompson Muzzle loader. It mounts in the scope base holes. If your reciever is drilled and tapped thats how these work.

There is no point anymore. Peeps that are made for the CZ are available from NECG. ------------------------------- Will Stewart / Once you've been amongst them, there is no such thing as too much gun. --------------------------------------- and, God Bless John Wayne. I know they do, however as pretty as most of the NECG stuff is, the CZ peep is UGLY in my opinion, I'd like something that is functional, but not so damn ugly. A Rigby style diopter would be nice, but it's going to be a bit too fragile for a gun that may get knocked around a lot.
