Looking for a break down diagram for a savage 219? Someone handed me one in dish in pieces and I can't find a diagram anywhere.

I would be willing to bet one is available at Numrich, www.gunpartscorp.com

They have lots of free drawings and some you need to buy.

Did you break off the firing pin when closing the break action?

There are 2 different 219s, one has an external hammer while the other has an internal striker.

This has the internal hammer with the tang saftey, got the beakdown of parts picture (thanks). Trying to get this thing back together can't figure out how the saftey transfure bar goes back in. I have to make a new spring as well but that's no problem. Someone handed this thing to me in a dish with all the parts removed. I have gone some basic work to these guns before but have never done a complete strip down.
