These are a very good stock. Perhaps second only to McMillan. They do require a lot of finish work. Check them out at www.bansnersrifle.com John

I've used seveal on light weight hunting rifles. They work very easy and are a snap to finish. I have not experience using them on a heavy hitter but, up through a 338mag they work great. Makes a very light rifle when finished. If you order direct they will make changes such as a blind box for no charge. I get my order from them in lest than 10 days.

JP Terp, After you bed the action, add a recoil pad and paint the stock, wouldn't you have saved a few nickels by going with a McMillan? The High Tech looks like a great stock but the McMillan is a true drop in and I am not a gunsmith so I would have to find one to finish the stock. I can't make up my mind. Which every one I decide on, I believe I will be getting a quality product. C-ROY
