For bonding to plastic I like to use PVC pipe primer to clean the stuff up.

Well Steve, Do Tell! I'll be shocked if you're not a lot happier with the second try.

I'm planning on bedding a plastic stock soon and was going to go the route described so well here. But lately I've been thinking of tryong something else. I work with PVC, repairing leaks and such and I have been using one of those quik-drying epozies by Devcon that come in the double syringe package at the harware store. The make one called Plastic Weld that is speciall formulated for plastics and it is great stuff on PVC. Dries very hard but not brittle. Only drawback is the short working time. I was thinking of chilling it toextend the working time, would this work? Has anyone tried this stuff? Thanks, Rob
