I have an 03-A3 that I inherited from my father. As far as I can tell nothing has been done to this rifle other than just shooting it. I was wondering if there is a way to mount a scope to it without having to drill holes in the receiver. It seems to me that it would take a side mount scope but I don't see anything drilled where a side mount would go. This is a nice rifle that I would prefer not to mess up by drilling. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Karl

S&K makes a no drill scope mount for 03’s and 03A3’s. You can get them at Brownells, Midway, and probably numerous other places. Depending on the scope you might have to alter the bolt handle though.
