I have not used open sights for many years, but I have specified them on my CZ550 9.3x62. I seem to recall that there are far better open sights available as aftermarket accessories and was wondering what people recommend.

I am particularly interested in any upgrades that are direct replacement parts ie no or minimal gunsmithing involved.

The sights on the CZ use small metric screws. You will have to re-tap to 6-48 to use most sights, such as those imported by NECG.

I feel the open sites on the cz lux 9.3x62 such as the one I own are very serviceable although not as pretty as traditional express sites they serviceable none the less.
