I use this stuff about every third cleaning and am always just amazed at how much faster it is to get to a pristine bore.

1 patch of hoppes to swab the bore, a little nylon brush action.

Dry patch the hoppes out

1 patch of JBs with 10-15 passes thru the bore.

Clean that out with more hoppes and dry.

Then I get the copper out with any of the copper solvents in about 5 patches.

Anything here gonna damage my bore?

Mike

Every one of my rifles gets an occasional swabbing with J.B.I've not detected the slightest degree of damage or accuracy loss.Just my 2 cents

Mike,

I make my own concoction of this, which makes it easier to apply to a patch.

I mix some JB with any good quality oil, and mix it into a thick liquid.

When I have some hard to clean barrels, I use a few patches dipped in this mixture, and in no time at all the barrel is squeeky clean.

I love the stuff.
