If my barrels are threaded 1/2"-x28, do I need to factor in any other dimension (besides barrel O.D.), or do I just buy thread protectors marked 1/2"-28 (of appropriate O.D.)? George  | ||

Good point. It looks like I'm going to need a protector with a thread length of 0.400", then measure the O.D. of the barrels. Thanks! George | |||
