Hi Having trouble removing the carrier release button--can t get the spring to move to get the button out-
Help would be appreciated

The carrier release spring is a simple bent wire spring. The short leg of it sits in small dia hole in the rec'vr itself. The hole is drilled all the way through to the outside. Very small dia,,take a just slightly smaller dia punch and drive the spring out of the recv'r wall into the inside of the frame.
It'll either drop out free of the frame and carrier button or you may have to pull it the rest of the way out with a needle nose pliers.

There's nothing else holding it in there but the short leg of the spring itself pressed into the small dia hole and the tension betw it and the carrier button.
