I don't know about weatherby's extend mag...

you'll want a #7 contour.. face opened, you MUST have a recoil lug on the barrel.. this is NOT optional, and the feedign work done...
myself, i would put SOME form of sights on it, too, as a scope cut from a 585 is more like a lobotomy
