OK, give me you ideas on a new barrel for my Ruger. I don't want to wait 6-12+ weeks for it-Lothar-Walther but I do want something that will shoot.This is for a hunting rifle in 7mm RM. My turn around time is to have it done by the end of Sept.My Smith is checking around but I'm trying to assist him with other options.

If you use Shilen you can order it from Brownells and normally get it in less than one week.

They usually have what I order which is a pretty big variety. Also to get the same discount Brownell offers you have to buy a minimum of 3 barrels from Shilen direct.

supply of Shilen barrels in stock. If your lucky,
he may have a Kreiger or Hart barrel in stock that will suit your needs.
