Does anyone have any first-hand experience with this product on walnut? They claim that it replicates alkanet root stain, just wondering if anyone has tried it.

I have some and used it on a few stock. Used it on Black and English

Very bright red. When I used it I had a fair bit that came back out into the finish that was applied after the stain. Anymore I prefer a finish that has the stain in it to get a more even finish.
