I am finally in the process of putting together a light mountain rifle. A while back I aquired a orginal Art Mashburn made barrel in 7mm Super Mag.
I am wandering should I use this barrel or get a modern made barrel for this project? The barrel has been examined with a bore scope and looks good. Guess the question should have been were the quaility of his barrels good or about average.
Thought it might give the rifle a little soul, so to speak.
