Dale: absolutely sweet. What twist did you get in the barrel and how does she shoot? That rifle is just beautimous. Tom Purdom

Zimbabwe,
Beautiful rifle. Fantastic metal work and gorgeous wood. I'm gonna steal your design on the rear sight base. Smiler

Tom
Thank you. I'd like to lie but it's Dad's main hunting rifle. It has a douglas bbl with a 1 in 10 twist. He shoots 140 gn. nosler partition 3shots seldom over or under 1" at 100 ys. The sierra group a little better than the nosler though.

Sorry the photos keep coming and going. The host site I use is having problems. The sights and all the rest were done by a gunsmith school friend, Clayton Nelson. It's the only rifle I've ever had made to order.

Dale,
Is that action hard chromed? I am currently having an 7x57 built out of a M98 and looking for ideas. I really like your rifle!

Two really great looking guns in every aspect. I am toying with the idea of getting a 7x57, and seeing those two rifles gives me another nudge in that direction. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Hi

Donald Mink of Colorcase in Tenn. did the work about 20 years ago. He is still in buisness but is hesitant about doing mauser actions now. He just finished some rings and a martini action for us and his work is topline.
