Hello. Hope some here who knows a lot more than me can help me out....

The Mauser G98/40, is NOT made on a Mauser M98 action, but a Hungarian rifle made from 1941 to 1944 on a Mannlicher action.
But, what Mannlicher action is it?

A good weekend to you all.

Happy hunting.

It is a 98/40 or 43M.

It is one of the hybrid mutts.
It has a Mannlicher style action with a Mauser type magazine.
