Anybody had a rifle Mag-na-ported? http://www.magnaport.com/company.html

How much does it raise the noise level?

mark.
I had (and still have a 7 mag)magnaported maybe 30 years ago. I don't shoot that old rifle much anymore but it remains the best recoil reducer of all the brakes I have used. I never noticed any obvious differences in muzzle blast. But, of course, I have always been on the tail end of it at the range, and never bothered to notice the difference in the field. It is the only brake that I don't a tinge of worry that it might affect the accuracy. go for it!

I have had both on a .340 WM and a .378 WM Magnaported. They would both blow my cap off at the bench and control muzzle rise a bit. I sold the .378 and cut the brake off of the 340 which I still have.

I wouldn't pay to get another one in any caliber.
