I'm wanting to restock a stainless hawkeye with a synthetic. Does anyone have any experience with the Bell and Carlsons? Any other stocks I should look at. Is there a reason a McMillan is over twice the price of a B&C? Is it worth it?

You can usually pic up a synthetic ruger stock off of one of the Auction sights for cheap, and they really are not half bad. I've been seeing them go for $30 to $60.

FISH!!

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."
