Surely someone out there knows the answer to Dr. Lou's question. I'm going to speculate that the answer is "yes", but that's based on the assumption that there was no need to change the threads between the L61R/AV and M75.
I do know, however, that in the smallest action length, the S-series and presumably M75 series have a larger diameter action/barrel shank than the old L 461.
