SmilerWhat is the differance in the Marlin 883 and the 983 22 magnum boilt action rifle? I have an 883 and just loking I couldn't tell any differance except I paid a lot less for mine. Might be the trigger system but the 883 has a great trigger pull already!

Blob1: I believe all of the 900 series Marlin bolt action rimfires have the "T-900 Fire Control System" that was introduced in 2004 - i.e., a different trigger system that supposedly is an improvement over the earlier models. The model numbers were simply changed to reflect this.

Thanks, Dad, for taking me into the Great Outdoors.

SmilerI thought it was something like that. Hey like the bottom of your post,"thanks dad, for taking me into the great outdoors" Reminds me when I was 8 years old hanging onto my dad's belt as he climbed up and down in Western Colorado. Start them young!
