I may have missed it, but I was wondering if anyone had gotten Dave Kiff's book http://www.pacifictoolandgauge.com/gunsmiths_book.asp and what they thought of it.

Paul H:

I have a copy of it and find that I refer to it often. It has proved to be well worth the price of admission to me. One real nice thing is that I have a reference when talking with Mr. Kiff about a specific chamber. I can site the dimensions he has on his prints and specify what I want changed in the reamer. This helps to avoid confusion.

The book also includes information on standard bore dimensions and twists and such, but is just pretty much what it represents itself as: a spiral bound collection of some 400 odd reamer prints.

Hello Paul, I picked up one at the shot show a couple of years ago. It is just as the title says, a book of chamber prints, no text. It is an exceptional reference book for anyone who does any chambering. All chamber drawings are completely dimensioned and labeled. You will find it very valuable.

I bet there's a great many interesting wildcats in that book. Sounds neat!
