Have any of you used them to install your sights? If so, how was the quality of the work, the price, and customer service.

I haven't had any work done there but I was able to contact the founder Dietrich Apel about the Steyr Mannlicher Schoenauer I have,Dietrich supplied information regarding the Jaeger scope mounting system and a source for parts. Also met him at the SHOT Show 3 yrs ago.

Not really! I am looking at modifications to a classic design to make this happen.

That pattern looks pretty nice.

A few people have instructed me to get a factory second like the Richards Micro-fit Old Classic 102 or the GAG English Stalking and build it up as I need. I was thinking of doing that with the Richard's.

Have any of you done a similar project to get the stock you are looking for?

GSP7,
That's a beautiful open sight pattern to my taste. There's a bit of drop in the comb which may hurt a bit on a kicker. What caliber?

If your paws do find a pattern, please look me up as I'd like to buy a pattern copy off you.

Why don't you just work from the blank and that way you can have exactly what you want? If you have never stocked from the blank, then it will be a good experience for you and you can take pride in your finished product that is just what YOU wanted.

If somebody has a pattern like this, I'd like to have one cut off of it as well.

I once had Paul Jaeger of PA make up a set of claw mount rings to fit an old J.P. Sauer double rifle at the time Mr. D. Apel was the manager there before he founded N.E.C.G. when Paul Jaeger was sold. They did excellent work at that time, and the N.E.C.G. products I've seen since then are top quality......

Obviously made in Germany or by a German-trained 'smith, as it lacks checkering on the forend. That's a dead giveaway!!
