They'll all work very well. The Brno has the advantage that it can be had in the white. With the Ruger, you have to take a barreled action and with the M70 you have to buy the whole rifle. The last saves you work; the first gives you flexibility and the one in the middle is . . . in the middle. If nothing else, you have to tell us what caliber you have in mind. Sarge

Danny I have owned two CZ 602 in .375 H&H. Both were wery accurate rifles, and relible as any ! Im also a big Ruger fan, but with the dollar excange rate at the moment, I would go for a CZ 550. The Ruger cost about three times as much as the CZ here in Norway. The only stock listed on the magnum rifle on the CZ web site though, are ugly as hell. But why in heavens name do you want a muzzle brake ??. My 602s where pussycats to shoot in the standard configuration, and I wouldnt dream of fitting a brake to any of them. ( And Im small guy !!) I have to agree with Arild. When I first took delivery on my .375 (8.5 lbs. empty with scope) I expected a big kicker. Even off the bench it wasn't that much, especially in a padded shooting jacket. After shooting it for a few years, I now shoot it in any position but prone and off the bench in a T-shirt and NO ONE, repeat NO ONE, ever mistook me for Hercules. Sarge

Hi Arild & ol Sarge Thanks for replies. the reason for muzzle break is because I am recoil shy and everything more than 3030 is painful for my my worn neck. best regards Danny

Hej Danny I really think you'd find the 602 in .375 H&H to be quite shootable. They are quite heavy once you put a scope on them. Also, I'm assuming that you will reload for this rifle -- nobody could afford to feed a .375 H&H in Sweden on factory ammo! If you do reload, you can tame your loads down a bit and still have a rifle that will kill very well. I have some load for my .375 that are so slow you can see the bullet streak to the target when the light is right. Loads of fun, and easy on the shoulder! :-) Where in Sweden are you? You are welcome to shoot my BRNO 375 H&H if you are in the Ume area. While it isn't a pussycat, everyone who has shot it finds it much easier to shoot than they expected. And back to your original question, I have both a BRNO and a Ruger M77, and I must admit the BRNO is a better buy in Sweden by far today. Even when you factor in the cost for a gunsmith to smooth the BRNO up, it still comes out far ahead. jpb

Rumour as it that Sako are bringing out a CRF action...that might be worth waiting for. As to the rifle's mention, I have a Ruger which I like very much, but I too suspect your best bet is a CZ!
