For a while all magazines were full of praise for the Voere VEC 91 and it's caseless 5.56 and 6mm rounds but nothing is heard about them anymore. Are the guns still being made or have they gone the way of the Heckler and Koch Caseless Assault rifle? Does anyone have any experience with these guns? Were they so severely defective that they HAD to fail? Thanks for whatever info is available.

I shot one of their rifles and handguns in '94 or '95 and the accuracy was very good out to 325 meters.

Gun buyers in the U.S. stayed away in droves, possibly due to the technology being 'too new' and the ammunition/component supply being too uncertain.

Well, actually, this concept was "another brilliant solution to a non-existent problem".
