don`t paint it use oil or oil with pigments.

What are you planning to do with it? Are you after a different look (like some of those wild colors the BR guys use)? or, a camo effect? I use regular archery camo paint on mine, and it works great.

If the color is to be permanent use Endura. It's a 2 part epoxy paint that sticks like shit to a blanket and can be had in a myriad of colors, and is tougher than nails!
