I am in need of the iron that holds the butt stock on this Stevens model 14 1/2. It belongs to my next door neighbor boy who would like to get it fixed it had belonged to his grandfather who passed away recently. I told him I would help him repair it with his help if we can find the parts. If anyone could direct me to parts I would apprecate it. If nothing else we will fabricate something if all else fails.
He is a good kid and he and his grandfather were very close so he wants it restored if possible

That's a "Little Scout".

My uncle had one, his father bought it for him when he was a boy, would have had to be in the early '20's. The rifle is still in the family, my uncle is gone, this year.

It might be that it was the first rifle I ever shot- my memory is hazy.

I don't have a part for you, but I sincerely wish I did.

Did a little search, maybe you need only a trigger guard and the butt stock. here's some pics of a complete rifle:

Here's a link to Gunparts Corp's online catalog. They list parts for the 14 1/2.

Hope they have what you need.
