I was wondering if this conversion could be done? I really like the 404 Jeffery and if it could be done who would be a good gunsmith to do it.

Find the proper bottom metal and you're off to the races.

I did something unusual.....I turned the brass on the 404 Jeff rounds to .531 so I didn't have to open the bolt face.....

In that manner if you don't like the 404 after a while you can put the .375 barrel backon and regainthe original caliber.

If you really like the 404 afterwards then shit can the turned brass and open the bolt face and be done with the wierd stuff.

Just fireform .375RUM brass and you don't have to do anything to it and it's cheaper than .404 brass.

Try these folks for bottom metal.
