I have a CZ527 American in 223. It's a sweet little rifle - and both me and my boy love it. It's also deadly accurate. Problem is that with more than 3 rounds in the (5 shot) mag, the bloody thing won't feed!! Pushing with the thumb on the cocking piece works (mostly), but using the bolt handle? FORGET IT!! I've owned it for over a year and put several hundred rounds through it, so surely it would have 'worn in' by now? Any thoughts?

rugeruser, For what it is worth, I had to tune both magazines for my 527. From the factory I could hardly get 5 rounds in them as the spring tension was just too much. The mag lips would hold on to the cartridge to the point where the bolt would bend the bullet slightly in the case and affect accuracy! (Groups fired using the magazine were all over the place, groups fired not using the magazine were acceptable). I can't help you with the mag lips as the fix for this was a lot of trial and error.(at least for me it was) I can tell you that if you bend the springs too much the bottom of the mag will slide off at will. Just the right amount of spring tension and the shells feed fine and the bottom of the mag stays put. Hope this helps. pdhntr

Polishing the inside edges (lips) of the of the mag made mine feed better. I had no problem with the second clip that I ordered.
