Any one know of a source for insturctions on stock bending.
I know I have read about it somewhere. The one I saw in print used hot oil and firm clamp.
I have a nice stock for my M 98 that has a little cast on. would like to at least make make it straight or maybe even a little cast on.

Thanks

For what it's worth I shoot with a lot of serious shotgunners and they have said (unanimously) that it will eventually "un-bend". Maybe one of the pros can chime in about that?

You can order a small book and video of this process from American Custom Gunbuilders Guild or Brownells.

The video is of the late William Nittler, a British trained shotgun smith.
