Here is the latest #'s on the Left Handed actions received to date. Currently orders with assigned serial numbers are being staged in the shop and work has begun. I have not received a set date when they will start shipping, but it shouldn't be too much longer. Well I guess this means at least another two months for the LH long action stainless and a month or better for the LH stainless shorts. Damn this waiting is getting old! So much has happened with the charter issue my memory is clouded, but weren't the LH longs the first to be offered? | |||

Sammy, I am with you. Had I known I would have to wait two years for a gun, I would have burned the cash on something else. No idea what my serial number is, kinda lost hope and wrote the whole thing off. In my mind, should I ever get my action, I would consider it a bonus. I will be able to get a factory Winchester 70 CRF in a SA lefty WSM complete rifle before I get my action | |||

Where do the custom serial numbered actions get listed ? With credit card charged from March 2003 and, of course, the original order earlier than that, would think some actions would show up on the list. Hammer | |||

Hammer, We don't list the "Custom" serial numbers because they are not serialized originally with those numbers. There are quite a few "open" numbers (I couldn't possibly start to list them) that we will use for the "Custom" serial numbers. One of my best and most patient customers, I'll only refer to him as MT pointed something out for me. I completely forgot to give a status on the Left Hand Long Actions. Here is a email I just sent to him earlier this a.m. Sorry, I didn't realize until you pointed it out that I totally forgot the status on the Left Hand Long actions. The Operations Manager gave me this information just about 2 minutes ago. The machine shop shipped 84 L/H Long Action SS Magnum bolts, 76 L/H Long Action SS Standard bolts and approximately 150+ Short Action R/H CM receivers to heat treat last Monday. The machine shop has received and are working on the following: 85 R/H Short Action SS receivers, 94 L/H Short Action CM receivers, 144 L/H Short Action SS receivers, 162 L/H Long Action CM receivers and 190 L/H Long Action SS receivers. The information was dated from the machine shop on 5/7/04 and is the most up to date that I have. The Operations Manager has called the polishing shop this morning and left 2 messages for them to return and once they return his call I will give a more detailed and up-to-date status. I am sorry that it is not perfect, but this is what I have at hand this a.m. Again once I have better info I will post on AR. I followed that up with this one: One thing I forgot to mention after I reread your email. The Long Actions were supposed to be in front of the Short Actions but when the machine shop started on the Longs they felt they had a problem with the machining. Therefore they stopped all operations on the Longs and sent them to us so we could determine what the problem was. In the meantime they had to keep the machine running or we would lose it so they started on the Short Actions and once they have set it up for the Shorts they normally will keep going on them until they are finished. We didn't want to lose the machine at that time so we told them to go ahead with the Shorts. If we didn't do so it could have possibly been anywhere from a week to a month before our stuff could get on it again. I apologize for the delay, but it was out of our control. Dan | |||

Retic, I think if you want to know something you'd better call. They aren't answering emails or posting updates anymore. I called last week for an update and they were prompt with answers to all my questions, even if the answer was not what I wanted to hear. It has been so long now that I will believe it is real only when it is in my hands. | |||
