I am considering buying a semi-inletted stock for a M700 LH SA. I've seen some nasty reports about Boyd's. Does anyone have a recommendation? I don't think I want laminate, just a serviceable, decent looking piece of walnut. I am capable of doing final inletting, bedding and finishing.

You might try these people: http://www.gunstocks.com/ Go to the "bargain stock" gallery and click on Remington. _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim.

I was very happy from what I received from Roger Biesen.

Thanks, Gentlemen, I had no idea Roger Biesen sold semi-inleted stocks. I'm in Seattle, Roger (and his famous father) are in Spokane, we're nearly neighbors.

Brice, you will be a lot happier with one of Roger's semis than those from Great American Gunstocks, aka GAG. And if you are unhappy with it, Roger will deal with you fairly.

Do the Biesons have a website? I sure would like to see some of their semi-inletted classic styles for thr 98 Mauser. I couldn't find it with Google.. Doug Humbarger NRA Life member Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club 72'73. Yankee Station Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.
