| Hi LAR45-
I've got a VZ24 bbl in 8mm I just took off. All the sight parts are attached, bore is pretty good.

| If you really want to do it right, get a new Walther threaded chambered 8 x 57 (Article # 726) matches the military contour, and have it rechambered to 8mm-06.
I've done several of the old military barrels, but they never really were up to expectations. [ 08-29-2003, 20:00: Message edited by: Terry Blauwkamp ] |

| Take that vz24 and rebarrel it for something new. you can buy a 8mm vz24 for about $100 and run a chamber reamer through it by hand and do OK if you take your time. |

| Hi Glenn, I got your e-mail and will ship out the barrel in the morning. A place to check out for used barrels is Kailua Custom in Oregon. Their web site has several take-off barrels listed. Their web site is http://kailuacustom.com/. I have some more information I'll e-mail you. Good luck on your project, The Big Dog |
