Here is the latest list of numbers for the Left Hand Long Actions. There are still a lot of low numbers left and the "Charter Issue" program isn't going to last much longer. So if you still want to get in on the $350 deal, you should give one of our salesmen a call.

Here is a breakdown of what each column means:

1st column is the actual serial number.
2nd column is your initials or the initials of the company whom ordered it
3rd column is the part number for "your" action. Breakdown for the part number is as follows:

1st letter "C" denotes Long Action
2nd letter denotes material action is made from: C= Chrome Moly S= Stainless Steel
3rd letter denotes that it is a Left Hand Action
4th letter denotes bolt face: S= Standard .473" and M= Magnum .534" bolt face.

If you don't see your initials on the list or the part number is not correct please call or email immediately so that it can be changed.

I'm just curious. What does the "C03" part of the serial number stand for. Is "C03" going to be stamped on the receiver along with the rest of the number?

The 03 denotes year of manufacture. The C denotes the type of action, I think. It was discussed in one of the earlier threads quite a while back, say, three months...? I think it means Long; the Shorts are B or A? The PHs are D?
Yes; there it is in the first line of the fourth paragraph of Dan's post: C is for Long Action. [Embarrassed]
I believe Dan posted somewhere back that the serial numbers are not stamped; they are laser-cut which provides for a very nice, very sharp appearance to the numbering. I think the folks at MRC are doing the very best job they can in order to put out a really good product that people will talk about, others will want to see and for which they will subsequently place an order, keeping them in business. It all fits together, doesn't it? I've even thought about taking mine to my local gun dealer and putting it in his display case for a few weeks so people can see and play with one. May result in some sales of the others like the PH, which I guess is not taking off like the Shorts and Longs are. I only know what I read, folks... [Wink]
