just wondering before i spend the money...will a mouser m-98 bolt shroud fit an 03-a3 bolt internals? id like to replace mine with the snazzy shroud from mid usa with the swing saftey

No, Mauser uses buttress threads, 03 uses acme threads. The closest to the 03 will be model 70 but it will still require some reworking.

Ed LaPour make a shroud for the 03. It even come with new cocking piece and firing pin body.

Not an acme, it is a square thread, Acme is tapered from the crest to the root.
