AllenBoselyCheap Mauser Stock
Is there a place to get a cheap wood stock for a Large Ring 98 and a 1910 Mex action?
A drop in stock. It is just for temporary till the good stocks are made. Short term using stock. No finish or checkering needed.
I don't care if the barrel channels fit or not
I'll open them up or fill them with Acrraglass
as needed.
Brownells has one for $96.00 but it is for the Large Ring only.

gzig5How about the military stock the action was issued with? Chop the front, toss the handguard, glass it in and you are good to go. I doubt you'll find anything cheaper and it sounds like what you are looking for.

tiggertateIf its temporary, why not a Ramline? I think that's about as cheap as you can get.
