Will a Rem. Model 7 stock fit a Rem. 700 short action. What is the difference in the two actions, if any??? Thanks in advance. | ||

I "think" my answer this morning was wrong.  Matter of fact I know it was. That's what I get for working on morning memory before  . After bcp and larry's comments I pulled my reference. Darn thing referenced the M7 & 700 Mountain in the same section and I misread it. Glad people in the know cought my mistake.As usual just my $.02 Paul K | |||

The Model 7 is quite a bit shorter than the 700 short action. IIRC, about 1/2 inch. Bruce | |||
