I looked at multiple shops like Brown before I went with HS. Everyone else himmed and hawwed around explaining why they can't make a guarentee, HS flat out guarentees .5 or better with handloads. I've done good with factory loads for my .300Wthby and am getting either side of .5 with BST's, so I've had no need to reload. They'll chamber for whatever you want and are a heck of a lot cheaper then the alternatives.

The Brown and Jarrett do look cool with the bolt flutes, but image isn't everything.

JOHAN,

Not 100%. That would be far too boring!

I looked at the HS 2000, but didn't liked the detachable magazine and the stock. The magazine seems to be a bit hard to load, because of the in line construction.

Ed Brown gives no promises for accuracy like some others do. He states that his rifles will shoot very well with a good load.

I know that barrels has persona. Some like everything while others are more picky and some are extremly selective.

The Ed Brown is quite affordable compared to Jarrett and others.

I should have mentioned that, guarantee or not, mine is sub MOA for three shots at 100 yards with everything I've put through it (when I do my part, of course), including some old Greek military stuff, and one half MOA with the better factory loads.
