Is the center to center hole spacing the same on the older lyman 48 and redfield receiver sights for the 1903 springfield, ie. can you remove a redfield and replace it with a lyman.

First I hate it when people don't answer the question, but I can tell you that the 48 and the Williams 9D are the same hole spacing for the '03 as I replaced my Williams with a Lyman a couple of years ago.

Yes, I have both and the whole spacing on mine are both the same.

Yes, as is the Marble, and Williams. as far as I know its one of the few standards left in this world.
