I got my Redhawk scope mounting project done. I did end up taking it to a local machine shop, as reversing the mount entailed a little machining on the bottom of the mount (it is a Leupold mount installed backwards). It shoots great with full power 300 grain loads (4"-6" groups at 100 yards), and fits nicely in the fanny pack in the picture. I now can walk right out of my house and through the neighborhood into the forest during hunting season without anyone knowing what I am doing (I live in an artsy-granola mountain community). I'm glad it worked out well for you. My first handgun was a Redhawk with a scope on it; lots of fun. I don't know about Imageshack, but at Webshots you there's an option to resize the photos. I select a smaller size before I post. John Farner If you haven't, please join the NRA! | |||
