Hi

I have one of the above with a crappy laminate stock.

Question: Can I grind off enough material to float the barrel, its like skeleton/ribs inside.

The reason is that it will not zero better than 3 inches with a Bipod, take the pod off and zero drops to 1"

Any suggestions? (except get rid of it)

Regards

Tahsis

Look to see that the screws from the bipod are not hitting the barrel...this happens a lot and destroys accuracy.

If you don't mind some weight, fill the voids with epoxy to stiffen the forearm.
